Faust Harrison Pianos is the exclusive authorized dealer in New York City,
Westchester and Southern Connecticut.
From the beginning, the Faust Harrison Philosophy has been to provide musicians with instruments that are
attractive, produce a high quality sound, and respond to the player, all at a great value. The Brodmann Professional
is the newest addition to our family of pianos and represents our philosophy perfectly. This piano plays like a far
more expensive piano and has become popular among both players and teachers. We feel that its high quality and
low price presents a greater value than other pianos in its class available today.
European Origins
The Brodmann Company, with its headquarters still located in Vienna, is world-famous for producing high-quality
European pianos. The majority of the Brodmann leadership, production managers, and master technicians all begin
their careers within the company. The Brodmann Pianos remain true to their illustrious European roots, steeped in
quality and careful craftsmanship.
Sound Parts, Quality Sound
The primary reasons for the quality of Brodmann Pianos are that they are European-designed and the most
important areas of sound production are constructed with European parts. Superb integral components such as
soundboards, hammers and strings create the distinct Brodmann Piano sound: a sweet, full-bodied, sustainable
song that rises well above its competitors.
Strunz Soundboards
Each Brodmann Professional Edition piano is fit with a world-famous Strunz soundboard, constructed from
carefully chosen hundred-year-old Austrian white spruce. These fine trees are grown no lower than an altitude
of 1000 meters and the lumber is cured at least ten months before it is crafted. The Strunz Company of Germany
continues its proud tradition as the most seasoned source of superior piano soundboards.
Abel Hammers
Brodmann Professional Edition pianos use hand-picked, high-quality hammers made in Frankenhardt, Germany
by Helmut Abel. These Abel hammers are renowned by connoisseurs for being constructed with unparalleled
craftsmanship, resulting in responsive hammers producing beautiful depth of sound.
Langer Action and Keyboard
Important features of the Brodmann Professional Edition pianos are the actions and keys. The high quality of the
Langer keys and actions give the pianos the precision demanded by pianists, and were designed as a cooperative
venture with the Langer action group.
Roslau Strings
Roslau wire is widely used by high-end piano makers because this German company produces the finest string
material in the world. Only by using the best string can such a rich tonal range be achieved.
Pinblock
The longevity and tuning stability of any piano hinges on the quality of the pin block. By choosing Burkel Inc. to
supply a custom pin block, its stability and quality are unsurpassed. Made with American ingenuity, they use a
state-of-the-art induction heating process that results in a top quality product.
Quality Control
At all stages of production, Brodmann pianos are subjected to stringent quality control checks to guarantee
their integrity. Master technicians and piano builders from the mother company in Austria oversee each step of
production and final quality control tests.
Hand-crafted Pianos
Hand-crafted in China, each Brodmann Professional Edition piano is individually formed under strict quality control
guidelines. Unlike other factories that mass-produce thousands of pianos, the Brodmann factory only produces a
few hundred pianos each year. Following the traditions of European and American factories, a Brodmann piano
stands apart from the rest.
