We are America's largest independent retailer of used and rebuilt Steinway pianos for sale. We have nearly 100 Steinway pianos in our inventory, including several nearly new Steinway grand pianos.
We carry nearly new and rebuilt Steinway pianos, as well as a used Steinway piano selection containing items in good, very good or excellent condition. Our mission - to be the leading rebuilder and purveyor of concert quality Steinway pianos to pianists seeking the best quality piano for their money - is accomplished in three key ways:
- We hand-pick our Steinway piano inventory. This is particularly important since no two Steinway pianos are the same. We carefully select only Steinway pianos that meet (or have the potential to meet) our high quality and performance standards.
- We own a 12,000-foot piano restoration facility, where our highly-skilled craftsmen utilize our proprietary machinery and processes, which have been developed and refined over the past 30 years, to rebuild our vintage Steinway pianos to their full original glory. We set the industry standard for Steinway rebuilding quality, which benefits our clients alone, as we do not offer our rebuilding services to other dealers. The used Steinway piano market has clearly recognized our rebuilding quality and value - while we sell our rebuilt Steinway pianos at prices that are competitive with other rebuilders, our pianos generally re-sell in the secondary market for considerable premiums compared to pianos rebuilt by others. The "Faust Harrison rebuilt Steinway" has become a highly sought-after brand in and of itself.

- Our Steinway Pianos New York sales staff collectively has one of the largest repositories of Steinway piano knowledge and expertise in the world. Our clients find this knowledge invaluable, as no two Steinway pianos are the same. Our Steinway Piano NYC staff understands that there are significant differences between a new, nearly new, rebuilt and used Steinway piano.
Of the available Steinway pianos for sale:
- Our nearly new Steinways look, feel and sound like new but cost about 75% of the price of a new Steinway piano.
- Our fully rebuilt and refinished vintage era Steinways generally cost around 75-80% of the price of comparable new Steinway piano models.
- Our used "value" pianos are prepped and detailed to be the best they can be without incurring the expense of a complete rebuilding, therefore allowing them to cost even less.
